Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations, joining GuestReady’s senior leadership team and directly reporting to GuestReady’s CEO. In this role you will be responsible for organising and overseeing GuestReady’s processes and operations. You will be tasked with ensuring that our business is well-coordinated and productive by improving its procedures and coaching its people.

The ideal candidate is an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient and effective ways to run our business. The goal is to strengthen our operations and to maintain and improve the service delivered to our clients, ensuring the long-term success of GuestReady.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work hand in hand with the other members of the executive team to set strategic goals and make decisions for operational activities
  • Devise and implement strategic initiatives for operational improvements
  • Directly and indirectly lead and supervise a growing team of 10-20 people
  • Coach and guide our operations teams in different markets unifying operational processes as much as possible
  • Collaborate with our CTO and product team on developing our in-house property management software
  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance and our Finance team to strengthen financial operations processes and improving our financial margins
  • Collaborate with our Head of Sales to improve and streamline onboarding and account management processes
  • Propose best-in-class software systems to facilitate a more efficient and effective management of processes in our company
  • Ensure excellent guest satisfaction by monitoring guest ratings and reviews and implementing processes to address any issues
  • Evaluate performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

 

Requirements

  • Several years of experience working in a top tier management consulting firm (e.g McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, etc.)
  • Several years of experience working in a operational role in a high-growth startup
  • Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the implementation of company-wide initiatives
  • Proactive, analytical and structured work style combined with a strong curiosity to learn and continuously improve
  • A rigorous work ethic with the desire deliver excellent results every day 
  • Experience in hospitality, travel, real estate or logistics is appreciated
  • Strong academic background in an analytical and quantitative subject is a plus
